In the full game, break sewer goo with a Pickaxe for a chance of Clay. A single patch of goo is not a guaranteed drop.
Your route at a glance
- Full game
- Pickaxe
- Sewer goo
- Clay drops
- Choose a station
Progression schematic, not a geographic map. Detailed steps and version limits below.
The short route
- Get the Pickaxe in the full game.
- Revisit the goo in the sewers and break it.
- Keep checking other goo if the first one gives no Clay.
Loose Clay can also appear, but we do not have a dependable fixed pickup circuit to recommend.
Budget your Clay
| Station | Materials |
|---|---|
| Smelter | 5 Clay + 5 Scrap Metal |
| Oven | 5 Clay + 1 Grate |
| Water Pot | 4 Clay + 1 Iron Rod |
Two different smelting jobs
The craftable camp Smelter is separate from the large existing forge used to cast keys. Do not delay the key route because you have not built a Clay station.
